Welcome to the 18th season of the Puppet Theater at the Grand Hotel Sofia stage! Every Sunday at 11:00 a.m., we present magical puppet performances for our children's audience.
While generally suitable for children between 3 and 10 years old, please check the specific age recommendations for each play below.
Program:
October 4th: "Gon, the Little Fox" - A beautiful Japanese tale by Nimi Nankichi

The Team: Authored, directed, and scenography by Mariya Banova, with music by Valeriya Krachunova-Popova. Translated by Yana Doncheva, presented by Art Land Theater.

October 11th: "Music in the Pocket" - An engaging original performance by Art Land Theater.

October 18th: "Pinocchio" - A fresh take on Carlo Collodi’s classic by Carlson Theater, featuring original text and music by Valeriya Krachunova-Popova.

The Team: Directed and scenography by Mariya Banova, with puppets by Ludek Buriyan and Monika Rolinkova.

Cast & Voices: Starring Nedelcho Nedelchev on stage, with voices by Zdrava Kamenova, Sofiya Bobcheva, Nencho Balabanov, Yoan Popov, and Yanitsa Halacheva.

October 25th: "The Egg" - Based on the work of Boris Aprilov and presented by the State Puppet Theater Stara Zagora.

Workshop for Smiles: From 12:00 p.m., children can join a special puppet-making workshop with "Art Land". There is an additional charge of 15 EUR per child, payable on the spot.

Place your order:
Our E-shop offers experiences and servises, and limited number of physical goods. With every purchase the client receives Voucher/vouchers which have an unique number (ID). The voucher number (ID) is your purchase identifier.
Voucher personalisation
A voucher could be a perfect gift. For that purpose, we have provided fields for personalisation. Find them imediately above the ADD TO CART button. Fields for Recepient Name, Recepient Email and Message are provided. The Recepient's name and the Message will be printed on the voucher. The recepient email will be used as additional sending option.
Receiving vouchers
Purchased vouchers are being received:
- by mail, the email from the Billing Address is being used.
- if you have personalised a voucher and have filled-in the Recepient email, the voucher will be sent to it as well.
- if you are a registered user, you have all your vouchers information in your account profile. Keep track of active vouchers, used vouchers, expired vouchers. Download them or just cite vouchers IDs directly from your phone.
Using voucher for service/experience
You can use the services at time of your choice. As our experiences/services are upon availability, you generally would need a reservation in advance. Making a reservation - just cite your unique voucher number (ID).
Payment:
The following debit and credit cards only may be used for payment: Visa, Mastercard. Grand Hotel Sofia is VAT registered in Bulgaria where all payment transactions take place.
Validity:
Valid for the day of the event.
Returns:
You can get a refund if you contact us within 15 days after the purchase. If there are applicable bank fees, they are at the client's expense. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used after the date shown.
